Resolution, cabinets, output area and test patterns are set from the Control: System → Screen.
Keep this window on the computer's own screen and click Full screen on LED display (Chrome asks once for "Window management": Allow). Or drag the window to the LED display and press F. Esc exits. Clean output without buttons: /#led.
A goal adds a shot automatically.
Changing the period stops and resets the clock (20:00 · OT 5:00 · intermission 15:00). Penalty time carries over.
Penalty clocks run with the game clock. A power-play goal ends the oldest minor automatically. Misconducts don't create a power play.
Starters are marked in Setup → Players. Tap to change the order they appear: the number shows the order.
Tap Next player as the PA announcer calls each name. On the Mac keyboard: N.
Animations play over whatever is on screen and then return to it. A hat trick fires automatically when you save a player's third goal.

The waving flag covers the whole LED screen until you tap End anthem, then the screen returns to what was on before. Lyrics: first verse of The Star-Spangled Banner.
Tap players in order: 1st, 2nd, 3rd star.
Logos keep their shape: they grow in width and height together. Size sets all logos; use − / + on each logo below to make one bigger or smaller. A logo can't be taller than the screen.
PNG with a transparent background looks best. It is resized automatically.
Resets score, shots, penalties, log and the clock to the 1st period. Teams, players and sponsors stay.
Tap a photo to add a headshot. Check Starter for the lineup intro (6 for hockey).
Checks every few seconds that the picture is really reaching the ribbon. If something turns red, the line under it says what to check first.
Connect the VX600's Ethernet (control) port to the same network as this computer and give it a fixed IP in NovaLCT. Then the app asks the VX600 every 30 s which cabinets answer. Close NovaLCT while the app checks.
| The whole ribbon is black, health says “LED output not detected” | HDMI cable from the computer to the VX600, or the VX600 is off. Check the VX600 front screen shows the input. |
| The whole ribbon is black, LED output detected | VX600 blackout/brightness, or the Ethernet cable from the VX600 to cabinet 1 / cabinet 8. Look at the VX600 front panel. |
| From one cabinet to the end of that port nothing shows | The network cable going INTO that cabinet (from the cabinet before), or that cabinet has no power. Port 1 starts at cabinet 1, port 2 at cabinet 8. |
| One cabinet is black, the ones after it work | That cabinet's power supply or the cables from its receiving card to the modules. The data passes through, so the network cable is fine. |
| One square (module) is black, flickers or has wrong colors | That module, its ribbon (data) cable or its power cable. Use “Module check”: every module shows its number and cycles red, green, blue and white. |
| Lines, snow or flicker across several cabinets | A loose or damaged network cable / connector on that port. Reseat the RJ45 plugs. |
| Picture in the wrong order or upside down | Network cables swapped between cabinets, or the mapping in NovaLCT. Use “Show cabinet numbers”. |
| The picture is cut, or shows the desktop | The LED page is not full screen: System → Screen → Restore full screen on the LED. |
Console port J6 (DB25 "I/O") → DB25-to-DB9 null-modem cable → USB-serial adapter (FTDI chip recommended) → this computer. 19200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.
Nevco, Electro-Mech, OES and Fair-Play consoles: send the console model to Kreative D-Signs to add it.
iPad / phone address (same Wi-Fi):
Use it if the LED shows a window, the desktop or nothing. It closes the LED window and opens it again full screen on the LED display (about 5 s).
Turn on Alignment, then move the image until the green frame just fills the LED screen (top and bottom edges visible).
Cabinet numbers and the module grid show if a cabinet is out of order, rotated, or not lighting up. Full white uses the most power: use it briefly.
Version —
Updates install by themselves (the computer needs internet). The LED screen picks up a new design only when you tap Reload the LED screen, so it never changes mid-game. Reload opens the LED again full screen.
The goal is already on the screen. Names you save here show at the end of the goal animation and in the log.
